Ahava Baptist Church
The Scriptures
We believe… That both the Old and the New Testaments were given by inspiration of God and accept them as the infallible Word of God.
(II Pet. 1:20, II Tim. 3:15- 16)
The Triune God
We believe… That God, Creator of the universe and all things in it, is omnipotent, existing in three Persons, the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit, whose power and glory are equal.
(Gen 1:1, 2:1, Jn 1:1-3, 1:14, 10:30, 15:26, 16:28, Rom. 9:5-8, 5:20)
Jesus Christ
We believe… That the Lord Jesus Christ, born into the world through Virgin Mary, gave Himself in death upon the Cross as our propitiation and rose from the dead in three days.
… That He ascended into heaven, sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven as our Advocate and Intercessor.

The Holy Spirit
We believe… That God dwells in this world as the Holy Spirit, convicting of the world with respect to sin…
That once man is born again through the Word of God, the Holy Spirit dwells in each and all the saved, to build together the Glorious Church.
(Jn. 14:17, 16:8, Eph. 2:22, 5:27, Jn. 1:8, l Pet. 1:23)
Sin and Judgment
We believe… That sin entered the world through one man, Adam, and because all have sinned, man has to face God’s judgment of justice
(Rom. 3:23, Heb. 9:27, Rev. 20:12).
Salvation
We believe… That the Lord Jesus Christ carried away the sin of the world through His death on the Cross, having obtained eternal redemption.
… That it is not through a man’s submission to the Law or sincere efforts but through a man’s faith in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ as found in the Word of God that eternal redemption is immediately obtained, becoming born again to receive eternal life and not perishing forever.

The Church
We believe… That the Church is not a visible edifice or a man-made organization but is made up of born again Christians through the Work of the Holy Spirit…. That it is the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ and The Temple of God, in which Christians, as members of His Body, in loving fellowship of the Holy Spirit, growing up into Christ.

The Holy Rituals
We believe… That Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances from God…. That Baptism only represents believers’ unity with the Lord Jesus Christ in death and in resurrection and therefore is not the shield of salvation…. That the wine and bread of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) are taken to remember the death of Lord Jesus Christ and that they will not to be actually turned into the Lord’s blood and flesh.

Resurrection and Rapture
We believe… That the end of the world will be followed by the seven-year Tribulation and that before the Tribulation the Lord Jesus Christ will descend form heaven…. That the saints sleeping in the Lord Jesus Christ will be resurrected in the likeness of His own glorious body and the saints who are alive at the time of His Second Coming will also be changed into the likeness of His own glorious body and ascend into heaven to meet the Lord.

Millennial Kingdom
We believe… That the Tribulation end with the Second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will Himself establish a kingdom upon this world and rule for one thousand years.
(Zech. 14:4, Rev. 20:4-6)
Hell
We believe… That those that have not become born again will be punished throughout eternity according to God’s last judgment after the Millennial Kingdom.
(Dan. 12:2, Jn. 5:29, Rev. 20:11-15, 21:8)
New Heaven and New Earth
We believe… That the saints who have become born again through the grace of God while living in this world will see the arrival of a new heaven and a new earth that they had been waiting for in hope…. That the new heaven and the new earth is a place without death, crying or pain, a place where together with God, the saints will live in the true glory and in joy for ever and ever.
